Harvest Moon Shaved Ice (Set-Up Shift)

One of the most popular stops at Sun Grove events! Help run the shaved ice booth and serve up a favorite treat for our community. The machine, ice, flavors, supplies, and a quick how-to lesson will all be provided.

Booth-or-Boo sign-up 2026

"What is a Booth-or-Boo?" Think Trunk-or-Treat with a twist! Instead of decorating car trunks, families and groups will set up festive 10x10 tents or tables on the playground. Kids can visit each “booth” to collect candy, play games, and enjoy the fun — all in a safe, walkable space. It’s the same spirit of trick-or-treating, just reimagined for our Harvest Moon Festival! We’d love for families to be part of the magic — sign up to host a Booth-or-Boo and show off your creativity with decorations, costumes, and treats. If you joined us for Trunk-or-Treat in previous years, the rules will feel very familiar. Moving the event to the playground comes with great benefits: more time for set-up, a safer space for little ones away from vehicles, and easy parking in the campus lot. Please plan to bring all your own equipment. Tents and chairs are not required but RECOMMENDED. If you would like to participate, just fill out this quick form. General rules: Registration is on a first come first serve basis. Spaces will be numbered and assigned. Set-up will be between 4:00 and 5:30 PM. Themes should be appropriate for all ages. We want this to be a safe and fun event for all. Sealed/wrapped candies only. (Examples – Hersey bars, Milky Way, Jolly Rancher, NO Homemade Treats, etc.) You may handout items other than candy. (i.e. pencils, small games, school supplies, crafts, etc.) Please be prepared to supply all your own electricity needs. There is a contest, judging will be done by Festival patrons. One vote per person. Judging will take place between 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM Please ensure the area around your treat stop is clean and all trash removed prior to leaving after the event is completed.
